Log of the first day

From connecting to the first digest in a single day.

InSortio doesn't change your mail or your app. It creates a few folders in your mailbox and sorts new mail into them. This is what the first day looks like.

  1. 01Minute 0

    You connect a mailbox

Enter the server and login details (an app password for Gmail and Microsoft 365). The password is stored encrypted. Not ready to sort yet? Choose “Watch only” and InSortio just shows where it would file things.

  2. 02Minute 2

    Folders appear in your mailbox

@Pozdeji, @Novinky, @Cekarna, @Zitra… You see them in every app and on your phone. You can rename them, and you can enable a feature simply by creating its folder yourself.

  3. 03Minute 5

    The first messages get sorted

New mail is sorted moments after it arrives. If you disagree with something, move the message — InSortio remembers the sender. Older mail can be sorted once, and the whole batch undone with one click.

  4. 045:00 pm

    The daily digest arrives

An email with everything set aside during the day. Return a message, teach a sender, or mark everything as done. The digest can come several times a day and on weekdays only.

Mailbox map

What goes in which folder.

Everything stays in your mailbox with your provider. InSortio moves messages between folders and never deletes permanently. It only touches Trash and Spam through features described in the settings.

  • Inbox

People you correspond with, and mail you brought back.

  • @Novinky

    Newsletters and bulk mailings.

  • @Pozdeji

Notifications, receipts and mail that can wait for the digest.

  • @Cekarna

The first message from a stranger, until you let them in.

  • @CernaDira

Senders you no longer want to see.

  • @Zitra · @PristiTyden

Snoozed messages that come back on time.

  • @Klid

Mail waiting for quiet hours to end.

  • Drafts

Reply drafts from AI Plus — they are never sent by themselves.

Limits

What InSortio will never do.

  • Does not delete a message permanently. Only what you set up goes to Trash; from Spam it rescues only verified known senders.
  • Send anything without you. Drafts wait in the Drafts folder; the out-of-office reply and sender notes are switched on by you.
  • Does not read message text until you turn on AI, the digest excerpt or a rule on the text. It does not store full messages.
  • Stop working when you close your app. It runs on our side; the folders show up everywhere.
Technical

Under the hood.

  • Usually within seconds of delivery — InSortio keeps a persistent connection to the mailbox.

  • Your app simply sees that the message moved to a folder. Nothing is overwritten or deleted.

  • Yes, you can pause sorting for a mailbox and resume any time. Folders and messages stay.

  • We store only what sorting needs (sender, subject, where the message went) and delete it after 30 days. The messages themselves stay only in your mailbox.

  • Yes, depending on the plan up to dozens of mailboxes under one account, each with its own settings and sharing.

Tomorrow morning your inbox could be half empty.

Connecting a mailbox takes two minutes. For the first 30 days you get everything, AI included.

  • No credit card
  • Nothing deleted permanently
  • Cancel by disconnecting the mailbox
